Steps for requesting social support
Apply for help at Lokèt Aksesibel Akseso (Bonaire) or the Social Service Unit / Social Domain of your Public Entity (Statia & Saba)
After intake, we will work with you to determine which support is appropriate and available for you. This could include an intake meeting, a home visit and possible an occupational therapist visit.
Based on above examination, ZJCN decides wheter you are (partly) entitled to the support. In most cases, support is granted for a period of 12 months, but this may vary.
If you don't agree with ZJCN's decision, you can file an objection within 6 weeks of the date of the decision. If your objection is denied, you can turn to the Court of First Instance within 6 weeks of ZJCN's rejection of your objection.
