Parenting support
Children are entitled to a safe home. A place where they can grow up healthily. Where they receive good support. As well as attention, warmth, and safety. Youth Care assists children and their parent(s) when parenting becomes difficult. Youth Care can then provide tailored assistance.
What other parenting support does Youth Care offer?
- Use Foster care when required.
- Prepare a contact arrangement between parent and child.
- Use Conflict Resolution to help parents communicate better.
- Implementation of a Supervision Order (OTS).
- Counsel youngster in case of a Youth Probation measure.
Sometimes parents receive compulsory assistance during the upbringing of a child. This happens when the problems in a family are very serious. And if the safety of a child is at risk. A family can also receive compulsory assistance if voluntary assistance does not help. Or if voluntary assistance is not accepted.
